Sweet Baby Girl. Prayers for Ora, Betheny, Caleb and all the Colliers!
Prayers for God's Mercy and Grace for our little Ora!!!!
Looking forward to seeing those Collier's at Thanksgiving.
Prayers for baby Ora
Prettiest little baby girl ever. Praying all goes well.
Mick and I just got back from a girls night out.It was Judy's big jewelry show along with Kara's new business. Lots of fun, food and coffee.
Tomorrow I better make hay while the sun shines because after that I will be staying with Bessie again and I don't know for how long. I will be running close to Thanksgiving I'm sure but don't fret. I have all the sister gifts ready and waiting. I put up a little mini tree downstairs and have my gifts down there . Makes me feel like I'm organized, you know.
Ora's procedure went well. Her oxygen level is at 84% which the doctors are happy with. The shunt that was put in place during the first surgery is functioning as it should. Thanks for all your prayers. The next surgery will probably be scheduled for after the first of the year. Looking forward to Thanksgiving with family.
Praising God for his grace, mercy and for Ora!
Glad everything went well. Ora is such a special baby girl. Will be praying that things continue to go well. Can't wait to see everybody at Thanksgiving.
Thankful for the good report on the little Ora. I hope we get to see her at Thanksgiving.
Avis and Brenda have decided to stay a little longer with Bessie. I'm so thankful for that. I'm going to check into getting her a Life Alert bracelet or necklace tomorrow. She will need that when she does start staying by herself.
Diane, I will be going to Kingsport tomorrow to get started again on the test I have been putting off. I changed from the place I was talking to you about. Never could get them to call and reschedule so I showed them.. Tee hee. I may have to hire a baby sitter for Bessie but I have put this off too long now.
Where is everybody again? Froze up, I do believe.
I had to go to Kingsport again today. Our drive back was so pretty. The rain and snow had changed to all snow and it was sticking to the trees and grass. None on the roads. Our second snow all ready and some leaves are still on the tress. In Kingsport there were a lot of pretty colorful leaves still on the trees. Strange weather!
Diane, I don't know if I'm glad I changed Dr.'s or not . They are putting me through the wringer.
Avis and Brenda will be leaving Saturday. We think Bessie is able to stay by herself. She is very independent so we are going to give it a try. She needs her space and I need my tempur - pedic
Jan, I want to hear about it at thanksgiving!
I tell you all the good stuff, Diane. I have a lot to tell
I know Thanksgiving is near when I look out my kitchen window and see a line of tractor/trailer trucks waiting to load up Christmas trees to ship across the U.S. in time for Christmas. I also know time is near for my trip to Pound when Conard leaves for his annual deer hunting. He left yesterday for Culpepper. This week I will get some baking done, some gifts wrapped and I'll head out next Friday. Really, really looking forward to being home again!
I used to love the days when Gillis hunted because there was less cooking less cleaning and more me time but when he came home I paid for what rest I had because it took a week to get things back in order. It's a mess when they get ready to go and a mess when they come back but I guess they deserve their little get away too. Avis got a deer right here in our woods the other evening.
Bessie is staying by herself tonight for the first time since her accident. Avis and Brenda left around three today. She seems stronger than she did before and probably is because of the iron and vitamin b12 shots.. She has fooled us all and bounced right back. I believe she is a much younger woman in disguise as a 94 year old but how could that be? Her oldest child would have been 75. Even if she had her at thirteen she would still be old. Nope, she's just an old woman with spunk. Pray all goes well with this spunky lady. I hope to get skinny running up and down the hill to check on her. I may have to slide up and down if the winter is bad
Looking forward to seeing everybody at Thanksgiving!!
Anybody heard from anybody lately? Kathy Gail? Ginger?
Okay, I need to rant and rave but looks there'.s nobody to rant and rave with so I will just keep it to myself for now . Diane, look out when I see you at Thanksgiving. I have some tall tales to tell. I have such a way of getting into trouble and you know , it shouldn't happen because I'm just too sweet for that. :-) I am my mothers daughter. Just can't help myself.. I hope tomorrow is a better day. Some good things did happen today and I am thankful for that. Got the part in for my oven and now I can bake upstairs and don't have to run up and down the steps. Got a part we needed for our heat pump and that is installed so today was not all bad .
Can't wait to hear your stories, jan.! We will vent!
Oh Boy! Yes, we will vent. Today has been much better though. I am learning how to handle things better,( I reckon) :-)
Getting closer to my big test coming up. Ugg!!
Packing my clothes today. Ready to hear all the ranting and raving, all the tall tales and everything else that takes place when we all get together!
Kathy Gail is driving here after she gets off work today. We will get on the road tomorrow morning sometime. I'm eager to hear the ranting and raving as well.
If it wasn't for so many if's I would pack my bags and go with you all but I better stay here and take care of all the if's.
Been down checking on Bessie. She is doing okay which means she is able to get through the day doing just the basic stuff. She has ventured out on the back porch a couple of times which is dangerous. She has bumped her head some how and has a bruise on her forehead. I take her for blood work tomorrow(just me and her cane) It will be interesting to see how that goes but if all else fails(she is so little) I can throw her over my shoulder and carry her. She is planning to start making pot holders again in a week or two. Cant believe this woman!
Praying for safe traveling today for sisters Betty, Kathy Gail and Ginger on their way to visit Uncle Pat. Also for Shana and her family as they travel today. Shana and Ella will be visiting with us this week.. Lots and Lots of family on the road this week. Always a worry. Be Safe!!
