Dalton's Story
At the age of 4, Dalton had begun to look emaciated and had developed a lump in his abdomen. The diagnoses was Wilms Tumor - a childhood cancer that affects one or both kidneys. In Dalton's case, both kidneys were affected. For Dalton's family, St. Jude Childrens' Research Hospital was a beacon of light in this dark hour. The doctors there perfomed surgery and now 6 years later, Dalton is a cancer survivor and is a delight and inspiration to all who come into contact with him. This song was written to tell this uplifting story and also as way of honoring all those who in various ways do their part to help the children who receive treatment at St. Jude's. The profit from the sale of this CD goes to St. Jude's.
